The Creek House in Sanger, California by Arthur Dyson Architects

Built by award-winning architect Arthur Dyson in 1986, the Creek House located on Collins Creek, a tributary of the Kings River.

The Creek House is nestled amidst a wooded thicket of honeysuckles, cottonwoods and sycamores on over 6 acres near the base of the Sierras and Sequoia National Park, yet only 20 minutes from Fresno Yosemite airport. Designed by famed architect Arthur Dyson, this free form design is a stunning representation of organic architecture that focuses on celebrating nature. Sunlight bathes the interior through walls of glass while the sound of the creek and the wind in the trees soothes the soul - a retreat from the chaos of city life. Bordered by Collins Creek to the south you'll find a watering hole perfect for cooling off on warm summer days. The grounds can host large gatherings or an intimate fireside chat on the deck. A special home that connects its occupants with nature. Must be experienced to be appreciated.
